Desert Drones LLC is a family-owned aerial drone company founded in 2021 by John and Destiny Ott. Based in Tucson, Arizona, we serve real estate professionals, construction firms, solar developers, and industrial clients across the Southwest — from Arizona and Nevada to Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.

Desert Drones LLC is FAA Part 107 certified and carries $2 million in liability insurance.
John is the lead pilot of Desert Drones LLC. He holds an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and has completed hundreds of commercial drone missions since founding the company in 2021. John specializes in construction progress documentation, real estate aerial photography, solar thermal inspections, and industrial site surveys. His hands-on approach and commitment to delivering on time has made Desert Drones one of the most trusted drone companies in the Southwest.
